One-Way Ticket

I wrote One-Way Ticket about moving abroad: leaving the life you know, being away from family and getting used to somewhere new.

ALL THE WAY HERE is about finally feeling at home in a place that once felt unfamiliar.

Last Train Home is about coming home, adjusting to change and seeing how the lives of people around you have moved on too.

I wrote Little Brother for my younger brother, Sander. Watching him grow into the man he is has made me incredibly proud.

Outrun Me is about trying to escape yourself. I’d rather leave the rest open to interpretation.

Don’t Go Home Yet is a love song. I’ll let the lyrics speak for themselves.

The title track of the first AEREN EP is about becoming the person someone else calls home.
